Rental Agreement
Unit Rental
When you rent a storage unit from Camden Storage, you enter into a binding rental agreement. This agreement outlines the size of the unit, the monthly rent amount, the duration of the rental period, and other pertinent details. The size of the unit must be selected based on your storage needs, and Camden Storage offers a variety of unit sizes to accommodate different requirements.
Payment Terms
Rent is due on the monthly basis. Payments must be made by the due date specified in your rental agreement, typically on the first day of each month. Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and online payment systems. Camden Storage reserves the right to charge a late fee if rent is not received by the due date. Additionally, failure to pay rent on time may result in the termination of your rental agreement and the potential loss of your unit.
Use of Storage Unit
Permitted Use
Storage units are intended for the storage of personal and business items. You may store items such as furniture, documents, household goods, and other non-perishable items. All items stored must be the property of the renter and must be listed in the material property declaration form provided during the rental process.
Prohibited Items
The following items are strictly prohibited in storage units:
- Flammable materials, including gasoline, propane, and alcohol
- Explosives such as fireworks, dynamite, and ammunition
- Perishable goods that can rot or decompose
- Illegal substances, including controlled drugs and prohibited items under local laws
- Hazardous chemicals, including pesticides, paints, and solvents

Storing prohibited items may result in immediate termination of your rental agreement and possible legal action.

You may terminate your rental agreement by providing written notice to Camden Storage at least 30 days prior to your intended termination date. Upon termination, you are required to empty the storage unit of all items by the termination deadline. Failure to do so may result in additional charges or the auctioning of your stored belongings as per local regulations.
Renewal Process
Your rental agreement will automatically renew on a monthly basis unless you notify Camden Storage of your intention to terminate the agreement at least 30 days before the end of the current term. Renewal notifications will be sent via email and/or postal mail, and you can also manage your renewal preferences through your online account dashboard.
